ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE…for the Beatles, for the safety of children, and for a great cause!
Portsmouth, NH Celebrate Valentine’s Day a few days late this year by bringing your special loved ones back in time when all you needed was love! Beatle Juice, the Boston area’s premiere Beatles tribute band will perform their 6th Annual Benefit Concert for Sexual Assault Support Services (SASS), “A Night to Benefit the Children”, on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 7:30pm at The Music Hall in Portsmouth.
“A Night to Benefit the Children” was created by SASS supporter, Bill Faulkner. His idea for a one time benefit concert has turned into one of the most profitable annual fundraising events for SASS; generating over $70,000 for the SASS Children’s Education and Prevention Programs. “SASS is so grateful to Bill for his dedication and commitment to keeping kids safe!”, states Kathy Beebe, Executive Director of SASS. “As a result of his efforts, the continuous support of Brad Delp and Beatle Juice, and our generous sponsors, thousands of local children in the Seacoast area have received the important messages of personal body safety through SASS prevention programs.”
Led by multi platinum award winning Brad Delp of the band Boston, Beatle Juice brings people of all ages together to enjoy favorite songs from the Fab Four’s vast catalog. The band consists of an all star lineup of area music veterans – joining Delp are Muzz, of Farrenheit and the Fools; Joe Holaday of the Fools, Steve Baker, who recently played with Beatles producer George Martin in a tribute to The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl and, the newest member of the band, Air Force Concert Band member Dave Mitchell.
Tickets for the concert are $30 and all proceeds will benefit SASS. The show has sold out for the past five years so call the Music Hall now at 603-436-2400 (or go online at www.themusichall.org) to get your tickets. This year’s concert is being sponsored by Fisher Scientific, Ocean National Bank, and Waste Management. Additional sponsorship opportunities and VIP packages are available by calling SASS at 603-436-4107.
