Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Programs School based education programs teaching personal body safety for:
- 1st - 3rd grade children using simple lesson plans and an interactive puppet show.
- 4th & 5th grade children using age appropriate information and interactive role-plays.
- An alternative program on bullying is available for 4th graders.
Adolescent Workshops Interactive workshops that utilize discussion, exercises and games to focus on:
- Images in the Media
- Sexual Harassment/Bullying
- Healthy Relationships
- Sexual Assault Awareness
Teacher Training A workshop designed to prepare elementary school teachers to:
- Gain an understanding of the issue of child sexual abuse
- Conduct simple pre-lessons on personal body safety
- Effectively respond to a disclosure
- Understand the process of reporting suspected cases of child sexual abuse
Sexual Harassment Training A workshop that focuses specifically on:
- Sexual harassment in school settings
- The continuum of violence and the issue of sexual violence
- The policy of the school
- The law on sexual harassment as it pertains to schools
Community Education
Speakers and trainers are available for presentations to colleges, religious, social, political, professional, service and other organizations interested in learning more about workplace sexual harassment, child sexual abuse, or sexual violence in society.
